Trip itinerary in a note, with bookings, a day-by-day plan and a plan B
An itinerary with one block per day, bookings at the top and a rainy-day plan B.

How to use it

  1. Create the note with "Use this template" and copy as many day blocks as you need.
  2. Fill in one or two main plans per day, with the time the place opens.
  3. During the trip, write the actual spending next to the planned amount once a day.
  4. Create reminders (⋮ menu › Create reminder) for check-in and time-bound bookings.

Tips

  • The note needs internet to open: keep a screenshot of the lodging address and the flight code.
  • Attach boarding passes in the Files tab (up to 2 MB each).
  • Do not store passport or card numbers in the note.

During the trip

A good itinerary is one you can check with your phone in your hand, in the middle of the street. So keep what you will look up most at the top of the note: the address of where you are staying, flight and train times and booking codes. Below that, one block per day, with three main activities at most. Trips with a packed schedule tend to be more tiring than fun.

  • Before you leave, take a screenshot of the key information in case you lose internet access.
  • Send the link to your travel companions: everyone follows the same itinerary and can add ideas.
  • At the end of each day, write what you spent and what was worth it. Back home, the note becomes a travel diary and a ready-made tip for friends.
  • Do not put passport, ID or card numbers in the note: anyone with the address can open it.
