What AnotPad is
AnotPad is an online notepad that works right in your browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install. Each note has its own address: just pick a name, write, and everything is saved automatically. Open the same address on another device and you see the updated text in real time.
It is useful for lists, drafts, meeting notes, recipes, loose ideas, and for moving text from your phone to your computer without hassle.
How it works
- Type a name for your note in the field above, for example shopping-list.
- Write. Your text saves itself, you do not need to click anything.
- Open the same address on another device to continue where you left off.
Features
- Automatic saving, with a warning for simultaneous edits and a history of the last 2 versions.
- Folders and subfolders, using slashes in the address (work/meetings).
- Attached files up to 2 MB, with automatic image optimization.
- Search in the name and content of the notes in a folder.
- Password locking and a read-only link.
- Checklists with boxes to tick, and ready-made note templates.
- Open a note on your phone with a QR code and install AnotPad as an app.
- Reminders in your calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar).
- Light or dark theme, keyboard shortcuts, and a Portuguese and English version.
Keep in mind
Anyone who knows the address of a note can open and edit it. Choose names that are hard to guess and do not store passwords, card details or personal documents.
